- Click on the Action tab and select the Action as masquerade
- Click Apply and OK to save your new settings
Step 4: Configure the L2TP Client
- Open the control panel on your remote device and click on Network and Sharing Center
- Click on Connect to a Network and then Set up a new Connection or network
- Choose Connect to a workplace and click Next
- Select Use my internet connection (VPN)
- Enter the public IP address of your router in Internet Address and name your VPN
- Click Create and then Close
Step 5: Connect to the VPN
- Click on the Networking icon in the taskbar and select the VPN connection you just created
- Enter the username and password for your new user
- Click the Connect button to connect to your MikroTik router
That's it! You can now securely connect to your network resources from anywhere in the world using your VPN connection.
